Why is my KYC status showing "Failed"?
12 September 2026
A “Failed” status can occur for several reasons during the KYC verification process. One common reason is an issue with the submitted identity document, such as a blurry or unclear ID photo, an expired document, or an invalid document. Make sure your document is valid and that all details are clearly visible before retrying the verification.
A failed verification can also occur because of a temporary technical issue. In some cases, our systems or the identity verification service may experience temporary downtime or an unexpected error while processing your verification. This can result in a failed status even when your submitted information and documents are correct.
Your network connection can also affect the verification process. If your internet connection is unstable or gets interrupted while completing the verification, the process may not complete successfully and could result in a failed status.
If your verification fails, you can retry the KYC process from the verification banner in your Servebor dashboard. Before retrying, ensure that you have a clear and valid identity document and a stable internet connection. If the issue continues even after multiple attempts, you may need to wait for a temporary service issue to be resolved before trying again.
